Baltimore Ladies –Johnnie Meeks teaches the series of classes developed from the books by Elly Sienkiewicz.  You can join this perpetual quilting class at any time.  Cost is $25.00 for each of the first 4 classes you take then $10.00 per class thereafter. A great opportunity to learn appliqué techniques used to create heirloom quilts of the past and create your own heirloom quilt that will be treasured by your very own family.

Professional Tote – the ultimate bag.  Jodi Groskopf teaches you how to construct this tote bag with pockets and compartments for today’s professional woman.

Landscape Quilt (2-part class) Artistic still life with Barb Morris. Turn your favorite landscape picture into a wall hanging. Learn techniques that can be used for other types of pictures as well.

Learn how to look at fabrics differently.  You will be painting with fabric and drawing with threads!  Making your own trees, flowers, stones, etc.  Barb has been an artist most of her life creating watercolors and sculpture.  Now she is creating sculpted fabrics into works of ART.

Shining Star with Betty Opp.  A beginner class where you will learn accurate measuring and cutting techniques.  This is a start to finish project.  A real confidence builder for the new quilter tutored by one of the best instructors.

4-Patch Stacked Posies - Betty Op instructs you in making a gorgeous quilt using only one print fabric for the blocks and borders.  Come and learn magic!

French Braid with Betty Opp.  A quick quilt with dramatic results.

French Braid Table Runner – Betty Op teaches this beginner class that uses simple strip sewing to create a dramatic accent piece for your table in colors that compliment your home decor.  ($35.00 plus supplies)

Curvalishish Shapes Pt 1.  Kids – you will have homework with this class. Pt 2 will be offered in September.

Das Blumen – Learn to create using blocks in a new way and adding machine appliqué blooms inspired by your garden.  What a fun way to capture your summer garden.  ($35.00 plus supplies)

Four Fun – Four techniques using two colors of fabric.  Join Jodi Groskopf for a really fun class.  ($35.00 + $8.25 pattern + supplies)

Tilt-a-Twirl – No, we didn’t copy this cockeyed.  The pattern has a tilt to it.  What fun!  ($35.00 + $10.00 pattern + supplies)

Skirt Serger Class – This asymmetrical skirt is oh so slimming and has an elastic waist for comfort.  This skirt would be a classic in one of our synthetic linen blend fabrics.  We will be offering the matching vest class in September so get enough fabric for both.  ($15.00)

Viking Educator Class – Chris Doliner takes us on an all day Sewing Adventure.  Come any time to join in on the fun and learn something new from this premier Viking educator.  There will be door prizes and other “adventurous” specials throughout the store in honor of this special event.

Stockshow Paper Piecing with Mary Lou Kerr.  Learn this deJong paper pieced new quilt method (see sample in store) with Mary Lou providing the helpful hints.
